Please stop putting AI in everything

I have a calendar app I've been using for years. I love it.

Recently, it added AI scheduling, ie a bar that, when you click to create an invite, automatically uses AI to guess what you want.

It does not know what I want.

I know what I want. I have the time I want. I have the email address I want. My calendar automatically generates a new Zoom link for every meeting. It takes me 2 seconds. DO NOT ADD AI.

And, of course, since it's AI, it adds latency.

Now, when I make an invite, I use the ingrained process I've used for years. But rather than the regular cal creation bar, it automatically goes into the AI bar.

So then I discard the invite entirely and start again, this time remembering to click the regular bar, now buried below the AI one.

Please stop.
